Passion for Paws Dog Training..Giving dogs and their people a new "leash" on life!
Michele and John started Passion for Paws about 7 years ago. John adopted Annabell years ago, a beautiful Pitty mix who was people and dog aggressive, John and his wife Jaime were not about to give up on her even though she needed a lot of help. They found Bill, from Bill's Dog Training and he helped them rehab her into a great dog. This is how John met Michele, Michele started taking Bill's classes with her Rottie, Bailey. She wanted to make her a therapy dog and she also fostered Rotties for about 15 years and with Bill's help, Bailey became a therapy dog and she also help rehabilitate dozens of Rotties as well as Pit Bulls, Cane Corsos and Great Danes. Both John and Michele helped Bill with his classes and really loved it so they started working with him and he mentored them both for several years, sadly Bill's health was not the best and he had to retire. One night Michele and John had the same thing on their minds, let's pick up where Bill left off and Passion for Paws Dog Training was born. Since then they have been helping people and dogs become healthy and balanced. We are also fortunate to have a few apprentices on our team: Tiffany and her dogs Rhino and Hemi, help us out so much with demos and her knowledge of dogs and training is a huge help. Dave started out as a student and one day asked if we needed help he would love be part of our team now his dogs Demon and Luci help us so much. We also have Amanda and Travis they are a wonderful couple who took our classes with their dog Ranger and now the run their fosters through our class as well as lend a hand with our tougher cases. Last but not least Levi, who is only 13 we call him our protégé, he took our class with his Lab and has been a part of our team ever since. Levi has a great gift to be able read a dogs body language, remain clam and help our the dogs as well as the owners.
What we are so happy to have are extra hands to help our our students, having trainers and apprentices on hand is a huge help and can give you the individual attention you may need.
We really love dogs and want to be able to help you and your dog enjoy life, taking them everywhere and taking it to another level by helping the world, happy dogs, happy owners make life better and your dog may be able to help others feel better too!
